• Account information: name and email address provided at registration or purchase.
• Purchase information: order details, payment status (we do not store card numbers — payments are handled by Razorpay/Stripe).
• Usage data: chapters read, progress percentage, last accessed timestamps.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited — collected automatically via server logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide access to purchased playbooks and track your reading progress.
• To send you transactional emails (purchase receipts, access credentials, password resets).
• To respond to support requests.
• To improve our content and platform based on aggregate usage patterns.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies

We use a single httpOnly authentication cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the platform to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services:

• Razorpay / Stripe — payment processing. Your card details go directly to them and are never seen by us.
• Cloudinary — storage and delivery of playbook media.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• MongoDB Atlas — database hosting.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and processes data as a data processor on our behalf.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and purchase data for as long as your account is active, or as required to comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account by emailing privacy@elexa.ai.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@elexa.ai and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices including HTTPS, bcrypt password hashing, httpOnly cookies, and restricted database access to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
